How To Install A Towbar | VW Golf/Jetta Mk5

This video comes as a response to the shock that I suffered when I discovered that I was driving the car without a rear crash bar the whole time. So, I responded to the shock with fitting my first accessory which will not only help protect the car but will also help me when I need to tow a trailer.

This video will also be helpful to you if you would like to install a towbar on your VW Jetta Mk5. I believe the procedure might slightly or exactly be the same as other VW Sedan models.

I found this looking for installing a tow bar for my Jetta. You've installed a tow HITCH. A tow bar mounts on the front of your vehicle so you can tow it behind an RV. A tow hitch allows you to pull a trailer.
