In the UK Mantis Den or Mantis Mayhem are great breeders and sellers. Please do lots of research before you purchase any though

I'm so glad I found your channel. I am lucky enough to catch me a few babies once a year usually from Spring and keeping them till Fall here on the West Coast of the US. It sucks that their life span is only around 8 months, however I am proud to care for them until then. I would love to own an Orchid Mantis as they are beautiful. Keep up the great Subscribed!

Lmao I remember being 4 - 5 years old I think, I was at my old school and I saw a praying mantis, I went towards it and it jumped and it gave me a fright 😂

I was fortunate enough to get 5 Mantis Religiosa egg cases from an eBay seller for about $20 USD. Nice price, and had about three dozen mantid nymphs hatch from one case in a test chamber.

None have cannibalized each other, most likely due to the soil mite/springtail infested substrate their tank has. Or, it could just be fear of one another. But, I plan to separate them and release most to avoid potential mass cannibalism.

I bought mine from Mantis Dojo and they came with stickers, caresheets and other goodies like a fruit fly culture, thermometer thingy, tweezers lol I was like dammnn!
