The man is so confused about what family is. 93 Acres is a lot of land. There is enough for everyone . Greed is a sin

Obviously, Matt never met a grudge that he could let go of. To hold a garage against his children for broken windows and littering when they were young is sick.

He is seriously holding onto grudges against his children from how they were as kids for being kids? So what… he didn’t think he should sell the property for less money because of it? That’s so messed up!!! Don’t even know how that can even make sense…

The problem is that all their lives he told them that one day they would grow up and raise their own kids there. Then he took that away from them.

There’s no reason why he couldn’t build 4 houses on the property for all four of the children so they can continue being a part of the farm and be Partners

Isn’t it funny how many people were hating on Amy this entire show.. now everyone is finally agreeing about Matt. That’s how it always is.

Fun Fact: A narc creates a reality that the whole family is completely invested in…and then out of nowhere the Narc completely flips the script. It is soooo beyond exhausting and destabilizing, I am literally going through this right now 🤦‍♀️

You don't tell your kids most of their lives that one day this will all be theirs and pull what he pulled.

You can hear Caryn's words coming out of Matt's mouth. Wow.

It made me real sad to see Matt do this to his children and grandchildren.💔He's so wrong.

My impression of Matt from the very beginning is it's all about him. His desire to have a show, his books, his mentality thru the show...

Matt thinks he’s right about everything, but how’s it working for him? His kids don’t like him. Money comes and goes, but family and your children come first. Always.

Amy is trying to tell him how his children feel. It’s not her baggage. She’s moved on. I think the boys would work hard on the farm. Or hire people to help

Good on ya Zack! I love your honesty. My dad always said his house was to go to us kids when we were growing up and then when he passed away unexpectedly he had actually left it all to his new wife. His four kids got nothing.

Matt does not accept what legacy truly is. The farm was something that the kids were promised as a part of their inheritance and also for future generations of the family. It really is that simple. Zach clearly demonstrated that he was willing to do everything in his capacity to assume responsibility for the property, but Matt set that goal beyond what he knew was reasonable. It is evident that the negotiations for the rest of the kids went, pretty much, the same direction. That is one of the cruelest and most insensitive things that a parent could do to a child of their's. He, literally, set all his children up for failure in terms of inheritance of the family legacy. If he was really serious about the whole legacy aspect, he would have found a way to negotiate a price that was within the means of his children. This is very public and very unflattering look for Matt.

It has all felt very much like Matt wanted to sell his idea of a legacy to his children. Basically he wanted them to do the work for him but pay for the right to do so.

The true colors of Matt. The blame game. I seem to remember his sons helping him on the farm practically every show. Pumpkin season all of the children were involved. Matt always told the children one day the farm will theirs. Now since the farm went up in price, he wants to take the money and run and exclude them. I do not blame Jacob from moving on.
