This is so heartbreaking. I expect him to not just be a grandpa but a DAD. I’m so proud of you sticking up for yourself Zach.

Zach is right. Matt is NOT used to hearing the word no and can’t handle somebody standing up to him.

Never been a fan of Matt’s & this is an example of why. Selling part of the farm to Zach & Tori as if it was solely a business transaction is wrong. Wtf was Karen doing there? It’s got nothing to do with her! Proud of Zach for saying no. Good luck in your move to Washington.

Matt clearly doesn't know the meaning of family. I really respect you Zach, how you stood your ground for yourself and your family. I think it's for the best that you, your wife and children move and make your own new memories. You will be better off. Best wishes on your upcoming move. 🥰

Before he talked about Karen, I knew she was the influence behind Matt's decision. Her true colors are coming out. Shame on Matt!

I've been rewatching the first couple of seasons. Matt kept mentioning he wanted his sons/kids to take over the farm. Sad to see this ended up being the reality of the situation.

Why didn't Amy sell her share of the farm to Zach?

Zach is spot-on. I'm Matt's exact age and there is nothing more I want than for my four kids to have whatever I can give them at this point in my life. I have 20 years left in this world; they have a lifetime. I am not out to profit from them. I have a granddaughter I watch for free because I understand the finances of my daughter and son-in-law and the economy and area we live in makes it impossible for the two of them to work full-time, as they do, and afford childcare. So I help out instead of charging them. Matt is a money-grubbing fool who's wrapped around Caryn's little finger. Why does he need $6 million? Why can't he take whatever it is Zach could afford to pay him? If it weren't for Zach and Tori and the babies, LPBW would have been canceled years ago.

First off Karen needs to stay out of it she has nothing to do with this but I feel bad for Zach and Tori it would have been a great place for them to raise their family and I know Zach and Tori were very interested in buying that part of the farm it's heartbreaking to watch this family Fall Apart but I don't blame Zach and Tori for moving away

Sharon here: Life, as we've all been able to observe, goes according to Matt's dictates. What a shame - first, his marriage suffered for his implacability, and now his relationships with his children are suffering. It's sad.

Man, that "I expected him to be a grandpa." was really heartbreaking to hear. So sad that the patriarch of this family has allowed his family to be torn apart in this way. His dream fell apart and he just moved on, leaving the pieces where they fell. So sad

I feel that Zach is clear and level-headed in his discussion of the relationship with his father, Matt. Kudos to Zach for setting his boundaries, accepting the reality of his father’s choices, and acting to create the life he wishes to lead with Tori and the children, though it ultimately doesn’t include the Roloff Farm.

I'm glad Zach stood up to his dad. Family should be more than money. Sorry to say that I watch LPBW for everyone else. Matt brings down whichever scene he's in.

Wow they need to protect themselves. I definitely feel like Karen is putting thoughts into Matt’s head that has him thinking like this. It’s good that he’s standing up to his dad he is indeed not use to people telling him no.

I am so " Proud" of you Zach, standing up to your dad by saying...No! Your are a loyal and loving wife Tori, defending and supporting your husband.❤️

Its disgusting how everything is a business transaction with Matt, he's such a greedy hog when it comes to money, that's all he wants. He could've sold it to Zach with no issues if he would've heard him out . In that whole episode Karen finally shows her true colors, I really can not stand her .

I really respect Zach for standing up to his dad. It's just sad that his dad is more about $ than legacy and bring a grandpa. Tori is fierce too! You can really see how much she loves her husband
I love seeing their family grow..
I watch the show for them. Really an awesome couple. Stay strong.
