I feel like shift is way more useful than tilt, would love to see low cost shift lenses but I think thats kind of a contradiction…

That's so much fun! I have a tilt adapter for my Minolta MD lenses on my Olympus E-M1 II. You should try one of those as well as it gives you so much more flexibility than a fixed focal length lens!
