Personally I really loved the movie. It seems to be a bit like Marmite in that people either love it or hate it with little in between.
I’d really recommend looking at Tell Me It’s You from this movie. It seems to be a lot of people’s favourite from the soundtrack (along with this one.)
I think the movie was a teeny bit doomed from the start as they’re trying to live up to the legendary status of The Lion King. But I genuinely loved it!

This movie really is a mix bag for ppl, half says the movie is amazing and the songs, while the other half says its horrible and the songs just do not click. It genuinely feels its down to preference in the long run

I loved the movie, but not as fond of the songs. I didn't think they were up to Lin Manuel Miranda's usual level. The repeating of my brother was annoying to me.
