Your dads face when it was being lifted off the lorry, priceless. It was like a kid at Christmas. 👍

19:13 a couple of shipping containers with an arched span and canvas roof would do well as shelter for Kit

The leg is a Mcconel shakeratar leg. You can get non genuine points from various suppliers, should use a soft hammer to knock them on as they can splinter bits off. If you loose a point and wear leg you can get some with a hole in the bottom of point for rollpin to go in to hold it.

One year we hired a mc Connell shakerator. Phenomenal machine. It was easy to pull as it vibrated, the vibration also helped to break the compacted soil structure. We did tramlines, and one small field, the following harvest the yield was easily 25-30% increase in the field. .
Also, I think what would be a good experiment would to have slurry injection on an umbilical pipe on the sub soiler injecting the slurry deep in the ground. The crops would root deep for the nutrients, and find water.

I'm glad for you that Luke knows what he's on about and doing when it comes to feeding cows and making silage!

The machine certainly has potential. I am looking forward to seeing it in action. The Case 150s ciertainly hit a sweet spot capability wise.

Sward lifters a very underrated! I’ve tried to convince my boss to get one after the success of my old place of work.

I remember subsoiling one field that had the old clay drains. I said to the farmer we would most likely hit a few of them. He said it does not matter as they are all blocked anyway. So every 10 yards I had that crunching sound. ! I later ploughed that field across the direction of the subsoiler, and it made the ploughing much faster.
