Carnival Cruise Late Night Buffet Food Tour

See what food was available on a Carnival cruise at its late night snack buffet! These were from our cruise aboard the Carnival Vista. This midnight buffet lasts until 1 AM and provides more things to eat other than the usual comfort food.

Even though the midnight buffet selection wasn't the best, we still enjoyed some of its offerings, and it was nice to have something else other than pizza if you're wanting a bite to eat past 11:30 PM.

Perfect timing! Yesterday, Tony and others also noted several Carnival food offering cuts. Some may be final, others like cutting Tea Time may be temporary. Really Sad, as a plus for Carnival was the variety of snack foods. I guess with food continuing to go up, you either raise prices or offer less. Thanks for posting this!

I was on the Carnival Horizon late May, the only late night snacks we had available was the pizza where lineups were ridiculous.

Nice video and very current. Have been looking at your older postings they are informative even somewhat dated. You guys have been onboard so many sailings over the past few years.

Highly disappointed about the change. Our first Carnival cruise will be in December. I do enjoy a late night snack. And there seems to be charges for some room service items.
It’s reported they are also cutting hours of the previous 24-hour pizza stand and eliminating ordering room service breakfast by placing a card on your door.

Cut backs ?? That is just another reason we would not consider sailing on Carnival. I've heard it correctly referred to as the Walmart of cruise ships.

Carnival late night snacks didn’t look that impressive to say the least. 80% of the late night snacks are pure carbs which shouldn’t cost them much. I could be wrong but maybe hidden true is more the cutting hours of the crew members (front workers and crew members working in the kitchen etc), and of course the extra saving on the cutting of the food helps too. I do feel bad for these cruise lines- the pandemic has hit them hard. Hopefully they cutbacks right now to survive but will bring these cruise privileges back to their consumers once things get better for them.🤞

I cruised in may with carnival and folks were hungry lol you had no choice but to wait on a long line for pizza they didn’t have a late night buffet ..

Losing late night snacks might bite Carnival in the a$$. It will make the gamblers leave casino earlier so they can get a snack before heading to their rooms.

I feel for the cruise lines with food costs so high. Also on many cruises I have been on I’ve seen a ridiculous waste of food by people at the buffet. Numerous plates of food filled sky high going to the garbage. So if you want to waste food on a cruise it appears you pay for it in the end and rightly so.

This is just ridiculous, cruising is not like it used to be. They are taking away things people enjoy and still charging the same or more for price fares. The food is not as good as it used to be. The last cruise I took the late night pizza was terrible, barely better than cardboard.
