Most vids I've seen are comparing the simplex (entry level detector) to (advanced multi-freq) level
That alone should say alot. I enjoy my simplex.

For anyone wondering, Quest Q30 it's almost identical to Simplex : Same price, Wireless headphones, Bluetooth connection with the app on the phone ( update software with the phone ), LCD Display with 2 level of brightness, magnetic charging port, 15 Khz, 5m waterproof, cam-lock shaft, etc etc....

All's I can say is when hunting trashy sites use a small coil.itt doesn't mater if your in multi or single frequency. Turn the sensitivity up or down.adjust the recovery speed to about 5 to 6 and and move the coil slow until you hear the low medium, high tone your listening for say like around park benches for coins.which a begginer should hunt for for his first year.If their going to hunt for jewelry hunt in the sand box or bark box, volleyball court.don'hunt around park picnic tables that are heavily in feasted with beer tabs, pull rings.twist tops unless you hunt the higher tones again.it doesn't mater if your in multi or single frequency. Long as you know how to turn the sensitivity up or down.you can use single frequencies on the 540 or most any minelab.

You should have the medium coil for less trashy sites and a smaller coil for trashy areas.the smaller the coil the better for trashiest sites.because it has lesser of a foot print.and detect almost as deep.But by turning the sensitivity up or down.

I was bout to get the simplex but I called a place and they were like if you’re near a beach get the vanquish 540…. Now I don’t know what to do so here I am watching videos… lol the deal I found is deff better on the simplex..but I want which one is is the most accurate and reliable. That vanquish handle worries me… but they are a great brand….

Ive been metal detecting longer then you been alive and the Simplex is the winner, you can tell you are biased against the Simplex anyone can see that.Also before you make another video please clean your carpet its filthy.
