THANK YOU Paystreak Superfreak (Jeremy) hand makes leather sheaths with love if you want more information or want to pick one up contact Capitol Prospecting or go to @PaystreakSuperfreak channel!:) Simplex VS Vanquish at the BEACH. I love my Simplex but I like the Vanquish a lot too!

Nokta Makro Simplex+ VS Minelab Vanquish 440 Metal Detectors.
Testing GOLD and Testing Silver.
This does not mean one machine is better than the other... just showing what kind of results you may expect when using these machines on the beach.

I purchase all of my metal detectors & equipment with my own doubloons.

Thank you for the test. I too have watched videos where the finds are surface to four inches and they use the tip of their sand scoop, on one attempt, no pin point, no X pattern. When I travel to the beach with the 540 I am routinely expecting to use my scoop two to four times per target depending on depth. Of course I have found surface to shallow finds but that is irregular. Thanks to you the 540 is my wet sand beach detector. It made my vacation fun and took away my frustration.

The one thing you'll notice though is that both Rings were gold and the chain was silver and the Simplex did at least come up with a signal of some sort on the silver chain when the Vanquish got blanked. The Vanquish because of its multi-frequency picks up gold a little better than they Simplex does but the Simplex is a better Silver Machine because of its 12 khz frequency. When I go to the beach with my simplex I just ground balance automatically in Beach mode and then switch over to Park 1 and I do much better that way. Both great machines for the money though No Doubt.

Can you do this same test with the Minelab X-Terra Pro and the legend . I would really like to see if one is better in the wet Beach sand please. Tank you.

I always bring my digger any where I go. You never know when a change of plans comes up. That's a sweet digger sheath. Great tests and keep up the great work!

I live in Crystal River Florida and detect everywhere I can. I'm going detecting on Christmas Day. What is the weirdest thing anyone has found in my area. I found two different pairs of REAL hand cuffs less than a mile apart.

Bought my wife's first detector 9 years ago, I upgraded her this spring with the Vanquish 540, she loves it, a real coin and jeweler hound.
Great video:-) 👍

Yep... I have to agree with you - the Simplex does not like wet, salty sand! Also, I have learned to just ground balance higher up (sort of where the dry meets the wet) and often detect up and down - from dry to wet - in the same GB - and often in PM2 - sensitivity one bar down!
However, I won't class a Vanquish as "budget"... not by a long shot! Worst still, the Vanquish is not waterproof!!! Me, I'm clutsie... I would drop that into the water at first opportunity - just because it's not waterproof!! But yes, MF will beat single frequency any day at the beach!
You and Destiny and the rest of the family have a great Christmas - thanks for all the fun you share - detecting and gardening! Happy days there in the land of freedom!!

I know I like my V540... with the larger coil on... it runs almost like a Nox 800.. great value. I think the Nokta Legend is going to be a great machine too... way different than their past machines... like the Impack, Anfibio & Simplex.... Legend sounds like the Minelab's like your Vanquish. Easy on the ears. Good Video

💥Great video and I’d really like some help. Not sure if you know the machine but I just took my Garret. Ace 400 out last night for the first time. I brought it to the beach. I had it in Relics mode, the sensitivity was down 2 notches from full.
It was going well up on the dry sand locating quarters that read in the mid 80’s. But as I walked down the slope to the water it was manageable when the sand up high was fairly wet but as I got down near the incoming waves where the sand was really wet and glistening from the incoming waves it continually read 36-37 and the tone went off every 2-3 seconds everywhere I waved it. I had it about 1 inch (2.5 cm) over the sand. Back up on the dry sand it remained totally quite until I passed over something which was every 30-45 seconds or so. Was I not using the right setting or will this unit not work accurately in the wet sand at the waters edge.??

I wonder if my sound settings on my computer were different, but I heard the simplex on the gold just fine, although a higher pitch than the vanquish. Enough that it would trigger digging at least. I also heard definite pings on the silver chain, again, more so than chatter. Vanquish defo hit a bit more defined on the gold, (sharper and a bit louder), so was certainly better in that regard...but at the end of the day both of them would have found both gold, and only the simplex hit at all on the silver(you were talking over it, but you could certainly hear the signal above the chatter IMO). On another note, I love that you refuse to "salt" your finds/videos, I think that goes on a LOT on youtube. The numbers of gold some people find just seems untenable in some cases!

Hi dude.
Another great advantage of the Vanquish is that it is very little affected by electromagnetic interference. Here is a beach that most detectorists avoid due to the large amount of interference. And we have found that the Vanquish works perfectly in those conditions. When we go there the Equinox stay in the trunk of the car. On the other hand, the Simplex is a great machine for fields and parks due to its resistance and performance, but on wet beaches and sea water it is not an option, we all know very well why. The only thing that outrages me is that certain distributors promote it as a detector with performance for the beach but whose beach mode is precisely the least indicated to detect in that field. Greetings from Spain friend, and happy holidays.

The sheath is awesome! Great video, one of the questions I seem to always get asked is what is a good entry level detector? I see you found the ever elusive pull tab!! 😂😂

The Vanquish won this contest hands-down. The Simplex is a very capable machine, but not the best for salt water. Merry Christmas to you!🎄💖
