After my grandson turned about 3 or 4 I shaved my beard off. Before that he was very loving and liked to hug. When he saw me got scared and he stayed scared giving me that scared look kids get sometimes. Later on I grew it back. It didn't matter. He stayed scared until he turned about 6 or 7. We're good buddies now.

I remember back in high school I had a teacher with a beard and a curly long hair. Then one day he decided to go for a haircut and a clean shave. I didn't realise who he was until I took a longer look at him. Incredible how a haircut and a beard shave makes a person looks completely different.

Both my dad and husband have done this at some point in my life. My brother thought dad was wearing a beardless mask the first time and told him to “Take it off, ” while swiping at his face. 😂🤣😂 My husband looks like a teenager when he shaves, so he is never allowed to do a complete shave ever again. 😬😂🤣😂🤣
