I had fluorosis since I was a toddler due to the minerals in the water. So my teeth are very much yellow with some white streaks at the tip. I really wanted to have my teeth whitened. But then I found out that dentyne (the healthy part of the teeth) is what makes your teeth yellow, and the enamel is what makes your teeth white or light grey. H
My dentist said having more dentyne is actually healthier. I just chose my lipstick shades wisely. I'd rather have healthy teeth.

Teeth whitening can be harmful if you do it long term and extensively like this. You're just breaking the enamel down which protects the nerves running into your teeth
