I loved seeing World War Z on the list! I’ve read it several times and listened to the audiobook. I tell people about it and their minds go straight to the movie which was a mediocre generic zombie movie. No, it’s such an awesome story with a fantastic framework. I think it would make a terrific limited anthology TV series. Like the audiobook you could get various actors. I definitely need to start Malazan soon. Sounds like it’s right in my wheelhouse. Also haven’t read Abercrombie yet, another on my list of shame. It’s so wonderful how fantasy keeps growing and becoming more diverse in themes, settings and writers. But it’s hell on my TBR!

I have just recently finished the First Law trilogy audio books, and I might have to agree that I liked the first one the best. Book 3 was my least favourite of those 3. I cannot really explain why. Maybe because the ending felt a bit weird to me, I was somehow waiting for a "proper" resolution.
