My Top 10 Classic Fantasy Novels of All Time!!!

In this episode, I list my top ten favorite classic fantasy novels! I use books published in the 70’s and prior as the criteria for what I am calling classic.
Of course this is my opinion alone taken from books I have read. I would love to see, in the comments, what are your top ten favorite classic fantasy novels. Or if you think I am full of it I would love to hear your opinions on the books I selected.

Very interesting list Tad. I haven't read most of those. Read a quote of moorcocks a few weeks ago which i am sure i will get wrong but the gist of it was he would rather be a mediocre writer of great ideas, then the other way around. I read the first six books of the Elric saga and hold found memories of those books. Have you read the chronicles of Amber? some great sibling rivalry in those books. If you haven't I highly recommend them, ( at least the first series)

Thanks for the video! It’s refreshing to see some books not talked about as much on Booktube. It’s so nostalgic to see how you dated and signed those books when you were younger. What a cool mother introducing you to the fantasy world as she did. I’ve not read the origin stories of Greek Mythology much but with all the many retellings that are out now, it’s something I plan on doing. The Hobbit is in my top 3 all time favorite books. I love your Folio Society editions!

Oh, I had a Terry Brooks on Zoom the other day. I mentioned I had a close friend which adored his books. He said he's got a shelf of unread Terry Brooks because people feel compelled to gift him the books because of his name. but he wont read fantasy. lol.

You're the only other person I know of that has read the Damiano trilogy. Personally, I felt it was pretty boring. They're not the worst books in my collection, but it's close.
