I'm pretty advanced in English and I had trouble finding sources of harder vocabulary/ grammar structures. Those videos work perfect for me, thank you.

As a native British English speaker, I can confirm there is nothing out of the ordinary about they way they're speaking. They have a Yorkshire accent but regional accents are basically the norm in the UK. People are struggling because they have been taught international and American English, which is really quite different from British English. In the UK we speak with quite a closed mouth and a low voice, and the language is replete with phrasal verbs and idioms. This makes it difficult but English teachers should be preparing students for this and familiarising learners with hoe actual Brits speak from the very beginning of their language learning. Hate to break it to you but if you want to be able to converse with Brits this is the kind of English you need be familiarising yourself with!

This clip is awesome cause it reflects the daily life usage of English. Yes, it is easy but also real English. That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks 🙏

This shows how many different variations in accents we Northerners have. Yorkshire is the largest county in England and the difference between Leeds Bradford York Sheffield Scarborough and coastal towns in accent is so different. No wonder foreign visitors can not easily understand the lingo when we have so many dialects and accents lol. Love it.

Any one else who is an English Speaker using Easy Languages for Polish or some other language, and insanely relieved to see the familiar comments of 'OMG, Easy English/Polish/Spanish/Whatever, it is so hard, they speak so fast!!' ... it makes me realize that learning any language will always be difficult and that gives me hope for my Polish learning :)

I miss Yorkshire accent, not easy to understand but quite lovely. I lived in York and I miss having a stroll along the river and nice dinner and tea time at Bettys.
