For those who are talking about the fact that "30 and 28 aren't that different" etc
I think it's not really about the fact that she's 28 and not 30, but the fact that he's dating/with someone who's so close to her age and is so far away from his age.
I'm obviously not entirely sure but that's what I'm reading into it ❤️

I love the song but I don't understand the big problem that his dad told her that his new girlfriend was 30 and not 28. I mean, the big age difference is disgusting and that she is close to the singer's age. But his dad lied about 2 years difference. I mean, for her it was fine if the new girlfriend was 30 but ahh if she's 28 now it's horrible? I don't understand. I love the voice and the melody and everything but the lyrics I can't understand the problem of the age change of 2 years

I think 28 is considered an adult and while I love her music, this song is very immature in my opinion.
