Hello College Liftoff. I live in the Netherlands and am currently in grade eleven (the equivalent of Junior year). I have already started the application process for American, Brittish and Dutch universities. Since I have good grades and a good resume, I will be applying to Oxford and Cambridge in the UK, Harvard, MIT and Stanford in the US and a few universities in the Netherlands. I will be majoring in Physics. My question is, if it would even make sense financially to study at, let's say MIT as apposed to TU Delft (The best university for physics in our country and ranked in the top 50 on the international rankings). The costs of studying at TU Delft would be around 2000 in tuition fees with another 12000 dollars a year of living costs. The total cost would therefore be around 14000 a year, while the costs for MIT would obviously be way higher. Would it make sense to go to MIT/Harvard/Stanford if I were accepted?
