Thai Chicken
Ingredients
• 2/3 cup white 00 flour (or all-purpose flour)
• 1/3 cup corn starch
• 1 TSP baking powder
• ½ TSP table salt
• 1 cup milk
• 1 large egg
• 1 – 1 ½ TBSP minced ginger
• 2 cloves of garlic, minced
• Juice from 1 lime
• 1 – 2 lbs. (450 – 900 grams) boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breast)
• 2/3 to ¾ cup spicy chili Thai sauce or sweet chili Thai sauce
• Oil for frying (i.e. such as vegetable oil or equivalent)

Process
• Mix flour, corn starch, baking powder and salt together in a bowl
• In a separate bowl, mix egg and milk together, then add to the flour mixture
• Mix both together to form a batter, and then add chicken, mix to coat
• Heat oil in a frying pan to 320 to 350 degrees F and fry chicken in small batches – cook till golden brown, remove cooked chicken and set aside
• In a wok (or pan) add 4 TBSP of oil for frying along with the garlic and ginger – cook 1 minute, then add the lime juice and the chili Thai sauce – mix together and fry 1 minute
• Add the reserved chicken, toss to coat, and cook for a minute or 2 till chicken is hot
• Remove and serve as is or with a side of rice
• Enjoy

Nice video. Looks delicious. It's just nothing Thai about it. In fact we don't have this dish in Thailand at all. Maybe something similar can be found in Thai KFC. 😊 Not sure.

IMHO ... based on tonight's results:

My "chili sauce" contained vinegar and this ruined it. If there's a "next time", I'll substitute an oil-based "chili paste".

Definitely consider adding fresh Thai basil and top the dish off with green onions.

You should've made that rice the day before, pulled it out of the fridge and made thai fried rice with it. You could've seasoned with soy sauce, sugar, salt, possibly some chili sauce, and of course FISH SAUCE and stir-fried it all with egg, onions, garlic and maybe a little basil. That's # 1.
And I know you said you're not into decorating or whatever, but dude. If you're not going to shape your rice with at least a
Aaaaaight. # 2. No salad?
#3 chili sauce is cool, but how bout some chilis?
It does look delicious though. There's no way I'm not eating what you made, bro.😊
