Master Swiss German at Level B1 - Oral Exam

Arranging a trip and a party: These conversations are taken from a real German exam at level B1 and translated into Swiss German. Applicants for a Swiss residence permit must achieve at least an oral language level of B1 and a written language level of A1 in the official language of their Swiss residence. And in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, that is German, not Swiss German. The video I made is for people who also want to be able to converse in Swiss German at the B1 level.

These are really the best videos for learning, please keep up what you're doing!! Swiss german was my first language but we moved to Scotland when I was young so I lost it. Hoi Andrea … The production and format of this video segment is amazing. It emphasizes pronunciation skills (repeating slowly), while the under titles allow the student to grasp how Swiss German ‘grammar’ is working over standard German form. And all within an everyday social context!
