Ok hear me out: Cuphead and mugman Only parry Up or Down but chalice dashes to parry so Mr studio MDHR made little hearts floating on the pink card in the king dice fight so it can make chalice parry the hearts so if the hearts were not there it would just be rigged for the people who were playing as Ms chalice.

Fun fact: When the DLC came out it wasn't like that it was normal and very hard to hit the cards.(I know from experience)
