I think how it works is when you use Chalice's Super3 on King Dice during his Card Attack, the animation gets slowed down to the point where he will just do the attack sprite infinitely, but no cards come out because they're scripted to end at a certain time.

Basically same glitch that happened quite often years ago and was triggered by using the Super I with Cuphead or Mugman. I hate this glitch because when it happened I couldn't consider the fight legit and I restarted it all over again; took me some time to figure out it was the Super.

Thia happened with me too and I got another glitch in which I got smoke bomb WITH MISS CHALICE it was broken and I destroyed this boss with ease
