the cilia hypothesis for bird migration 1/2 spin detection - very fascinating indeed! The quantum biology tech lab at UCLA dismissed quantum bird migration since the cryptochrome didn't have quantum coherence long enough (something like that). Anyway so yes from nonwestern deep meditation there is a permanent magnetic bliss in the center of the brain and this magnetic bliss gets dramatically stronger around the full moon and the solstice and equinoxes! There is also an increase in charge - which originates from the 1/2 spin - and the virtual photons. So the cilia hypothesis is an awesome connection. Dr. Mae-Wan Ho's quantum biology work ties into that as well.

I'm a fan of the Penrose-Hameroff Orchestrated Objective Reduction (OrchOR) theory! Though far from perfect, it at least gets the ball rolling on factoring natural quantum processes into pervasive consciousness, as opposed to limiting everything to a neuroelectric computer model. Thanks for the link to the "Quantum Underground" lecture, I'll go watch that now.

Time is asymmetric - as Roger Penrose emphasizes - NOT a fractal! hahaha. Math Prof Lou Kauffman and Fields Medal math prof Alain Connes also both emphasize time as being noncommutative or asymmetric shift. Physics Prof Basil J. Hiley and physicist Lee Smolin both also emphasize time is asymmetric and nonlocal. thanks
