I was skeptical at first that Satisfactory would scratch the Factorio itch. But 100 hours in, I'm pleasantly surprised to be wrong :P. Your guides have been a huge asset to my designs

This is the sane way to do things. I just went and made a new factory for each new frame. It was painful but now I know the ratios by heart and can build the factories in my sleep. In fact, sometimes I do. Because they haunt my nightmares.

Some alternate recipes that accelerate this chain greatly are:

1) Cast Screw simplifies the screw chain from ingot - rod - screw to ingot - screw, still at 1:4 decompression, but 50 screws/min/constructor instead of 40, so two cleanly fit one RIP assembler
2) Stitched Iron Plate lets you use wires, ie copper or caterium, to mix into RIPs, vastly increasing RIP production. You're probably already swimming in wires by tier 2 so this is a great way to use them.
3) Steel Rod turns 1 iron ore and 1 coal into 4 rods. Alternately, steeled frames also let you use coal to boost the space efficiency of the production.

This game is a drug. I initially hate facing complex items. Proper hate. Yet I keep chasing and end up enjoying the rush of a nice setup. I even enjoy my spaghetti as long as I get my fekn item

I went for Bolted frames in my run
Fit all the machines in a 2 floor blueprint
Very important to figure our modular frame produciton

I've noticed that the sound levels have been fixed compared to the previous guides! Good stuff, I really enjoy your style, visuals and calm but firm voice.

In my most recent few saves, I did not hesitate with modular frame production. In my most recent save, I built a full 60/min modular frame factory before even building my 5th coal generator.

Instructions unclear, accidentally built a pure ingot refining plant making 320 ingots per second

Making my way through phase 4 as we speak. I’ll tackle pressure conversion cubes right after I finish my thermal propulsion rockets.

I just finished setting up a modular frame factory that has 20.5/min output that then feeds into making 5/min versitile framework and 6.75/min heavy modular frames, which i then somerslooped to 13.5 heavy modular frames per minute total. Next is shipping the heavy modular frames to my under construction nitrogen processing factory to make fused modular frames and then final made into pressure conversion cubes

One of the best troll factories I've seen was an array of 60 assemblers for pressure cubes. But each was fed by a mess of wildly different recipe chains.
And the guy bottlenecked it to around 55/min so you know somthing is off by just looking at the output belt but it seems like an easy fix. Then you pull one foundation and its a random pasta generator in there.

You included a easily discernable chart and labeled the layout!
Thank you!
It's so frustrating when tutorials don't do either of these things because I need some sort of visualization to aid in my understanding.

Thanks to this i have made myfirst manifold and im excited to make more

Managed to build an entire modular frame factory in the blueprint designer. I make all my ingots on the ground, and they all go up to inputs on the outside of the building, with a single output for the frames. I love it. Its ugly as hell inside, but its a modular factory off in the middle of nowhere, and it looks nice from the outside so I don't really care.

Great tip. Simplifies it a lot. You might consider getting some acoustic foam to cut down on that slight microphone reverb/tinning.

Don't forget, if you get good alts, use them! Cast Screws can make a ton early-game, and Steel Frames is amazing a bit later.

I don't use screws at all, alternative recipes can make reinforced iron plates with iron plates and wire, which is much simpler to optimize and you already have to set up copper wire for other recipes

I quite literally just got off from a 5 hour session that was supposed to be a quick half hour break...

I built an assembly line for RC control units dumping into a dimensional depot, and it only runs at 2 RC controllers per minute.
Even so, I was flipping delighted when I saw the first two roll out of the manufacturer!

My factory is slowly but steadily metastasizing across the north western desert with roads and rails creeping ever further. Gosh this game is addicting!

Thought I was hot sh*t when I completed my Phase 3 factory, now phase 4 is absolutely taking me through the ringer and fused modular frames are a big part of that. I'm very close to basically tearing my entire world down and starting from scratch. The material transit requirements going forward are just so much more extreme than having to haul in a little coal or oil products on a train
