I like the clock widget because when I’m standing there waiting for 6:00 so I can clock out of work, it’s nice to look at the seconds in the widget and be like 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, FREEDOM

I’ve only noticed one bug in the latest beta release of iOS 18.1. It appears to be an accessibility bug. When using VoiceOver and trying to move an app from your home screen to within a folder, the app apparently is not moved within the folder, but his instead put in that folder‘s place, changing the configuration of your home screen. Hopefully this will be something Rectified with the release candidate.❤

Home & Lock Screen is now always at the top 1 usage on this beta, taking around 35% of the battery every day, even if the lock screen or home screen have widgets or not.
It used to be 3-10%, with the exact same configuration. The battery doesnt keep its charge in standby overnight as in previous iOS versions. This needs to be adressed, hopefully on the next week's beta.

It’s important to remember that the location shown for an AirTag in the Find My app is the location of the Apple device that detected the AirTag, not the location of the AirTag itself. So if your next-door neighbor, who doesn’t have any Apple devices, steals something that’s been AirTagged, and your iPhone in your house detects it, Find My will show the location of the AirTag as your house. This may well be what happened in the case of your crazy AirTag story. The police had no grounds to search that house, because all they knew is that the location of the device that detected the stolen signs was in that house. That tells them the stolen stuff was nearby, but they don’t know in which house.

I just wanna know what performance & battery hit does the iPhone 11 take when ios 18 is booted on it. Will future releases address these issues?
