That was a good piece of furniture. Love the little detailing, the hardware pulls looked like "smiles." I don't think you used enough stripper or sanded off the old finish enough. Love your company name, very fitting. Best of luck.

Gorgeous!! Love the red and natural wood combo! And the awesome hardware! Yeah, cleaning primer out of the sprayer us a HUGE pain in the butt. If you want to try a brand that is water based, blocks bleed through (even with like dark raw mahogany), wood tannins and is an odor blocking primer too, try Dixie Belle’s BOSS. You can spray it on and wash it out of your sprayer, in the sink, just like you do chalk paint. It comes in white, clear (which is great if you want to distress for like farmhouse style) and gray (my favorite). The clear and usually the gray don’t need thinning out, the white you might need to add a little bit of water. But all give great even full coverage with super easy clean up! I’ve literally covered raw low grade cedar (huge bleeder) with gray BOSS and painted it light aqua. It’s all I use now (btw, has no VOCs, so I can paint inside with it and no mask/respirator required. Except I obviously use a brush and roller inside lol).

Great vid. After stripping use fine steel wool with your mineral spirits, I find it cleans the surface better than a rag. Cheers

You needed more stripper, lay it on really thick. That what makes it really expensive to use strippers, but it helps it penetrate.

Wow, I love the paint colour. Leaving the drawers just as they are was a great choice. Also love the original hardware. GREAT job!

That looks really good. Lots of work. Let us know what it sells for and how long it takes to sell.
