**the little pocket on your jeans was actually put there for pocket watches! Back in the 1800s, cowboys used to wear their watches on chains and kept them in their waistcosts. To keep them from getting broken, Levis introduced this small pocket where they could keep their watch.

Genius…the whistle on the backpack is a game changer and should be told to every child carrying a backpack…It can alert someone if they are ever in danger! Thanks Brittany…love & hugs 💋💨

Another home filter a lot of people don’t know about is the one in your faucet. If you unscrew the spout at the tip where the water comes out, there is usually a wire mesh filter that is catching any debris from your pipes! Rinse & replace it for better water flow!

The scissor serrated bit is also used to give leverage when opening jars!
Also the small pocket was originally designed for a fob watch as it was less likely to fall out and when wearing jeans men didn’t usually wear a waistcoat!

The whistle on the backpack actually blew me away 😮❤

The extra jeans pocket was originally for pocket watches. I knew many of these but learned some new ones! The herb stripper was so cool! I always thought that was just for bottle tops. I usually watch on my iPhone although occasionally on my laptop. But I never miss, especially these random trivia episodes. Love them! 🤓

So I knew most of those, but the one I like, is the tab on top of a soda can, it can be turned around over the large opening and you can place a straw into it and it won’t move around, that’s my favorite.😊

The heel lock tip for tying shoes definitely blew my mind! I can’t recall when I learned that but it’s been such a game changer! It works sooo well that you are quite literally “locked” into your shoes once you lace them like that! 😂

Dearest Britney, This is brilliant! Thank you for educating us on these small details which can make such a big difference in our lives. The head rest doubling as an emergency escape device to smash window can save lives! ❤

Never knew about the scissors hack - and I’ve seen it but never questioned it. You’ve got to love how you come up with these things. Love the beanie explanation. Thanks so much Brittany - this was a fun video.

Extra pocket is a change pocket. Iphone. The inside teeth on the scissors can be use to open bottle caps.

Great video! I always thought the drawer under oven was to store cookie sheets. My mom told me it’s a “warmer area” to put casseroles or bread after it’s baked.
Seats in a small sedan like a Honda Civic. The backseat seats can also be dropped down but the access button is in the trunk to release them. Opens up backseat space a lot!

Speaking of filters I see so many keurig machines that people get rid of unnecessarily because there's a little tiny filter in the water line where you the water comes in on the bottom part and that needs to be cleaned it gets clogged up and then the Keurig won't work and it's a common problem. The filter is teeny tiny ❤️

I always thought that serrated hole on the kitchen shears was to crack crab legs or other seafood. The herb stripper is much more useful because I don't like seafood!! Thanks for all the great tips!

2:41 - this will not work on newer cars. Side windows in almost 100% of vehicles are laminated. It's meant to prevent people being ejected from vehicles (which is easily preventable with a seatbelt...duh) but turns your vehicle into a death trap in some situations where you can't get the doors open or the window down. Your headrest brackets will not break out laminated glass.

I LOOOOVE these videos much!!!❤ Even things you may have known, and forgotten this is great for a reminder!
My favorite is(as a mother and grandma of a now driving teenage boy) the headrest in the car! We live in Louisiana and we are full of bayous, accidents can happen….knowing this is very good!

So many useful tips! I'm going to look for the gas cap holder for sure, as the string that it hangs by broke awhile ago. Probably wouldn't have broken if I'd been using the cap holder, lol!

Watching on my desktop Mac. I make playlists for videos I want to watch vs only need to listen to and like to watch my watch list on a bigger screen. Brittany's videos are always on my watch list!
