Just wanted to comment on something you said in another video about people making comments about your boy doing camera work. Personally I think he does a good job and I think the time you are spending with him is priceless. I wish I would have had that when I was his age but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. So I was self taught early on and formally trained later. I have over 40 years doing automotive, plant maintenance and aircraft. But I can assure you that I have taught my boy just as you are doing with yours and that is what really matters at the end of the day. It’s all about giving your kids the opportunity to be better then we ever were.

Scannerdanner you are very inspirational on those tough problems. I hear your voice constantly when running down tough problems. Thank you very much.

Matter of fact many FSM calls for the same adhesive lined crimp-type butt connectors instead of soldering!
Glad to see you here SD

I have been in automotive for 15 years but I swear Pete's garage gets all the problems on a regular basis that I have only run into a couple times.

Excellent video as usual, and please don't remove the parts with the mistakes. Real world stuff is what it's all about.
A series on the OBD modes would be VERY much appreciated.

@ScannerDanner very surprised the amount of damage that i'm Assuming is caused by rats etc there, an how many people might get ripped off in taking their cars to a Garage thinking the issues that they have are a lot worse than they really are... between you an Eric O of South Main Auto Repair LLC I for one am glad to see Mechanics an Diagnostic personnel such as yourself An Eric being so open an honest to people an go out of your way to save your customers money in the Process a+ from me guy keep up the good work cheers

Your videos have really improved since having Caleb as your cameraman. Not that there was a problem before, they are now just on another level.

I've heard of you from other youtubers, but this was the first video I watched, glad you didn't edit out the mess up with the computer, hell we have all forgotten to attach something at one time or another, made the video more realistic AND funny at the same time, got me to subscribe. THX!

Great Video!  I had the same problem last year on my Taurus when squirrels chewed wiring, hoses, and A/C ducts, even bit a hole in the evaporator coil.
