How To Fix No Apple CarPlay / Android Auto in a Kia (and probably Hyundai)

Every so often phone projection (Apple CarPlay / Android Auto) stops working in our Kia EV6, and the car doesn't see that there is a phone plugged into the data port. This video outlines how to resolve the problem.

For all those coming many months later, this didn’t work for me at first, but it worked after I deleted my phone from the car, then deleted the car from my Bluetooth, then finally, I end the reset button for about ten seconds. Then, and only then it worked.

THANK YOU! Some people on Reddit were talking about pulling out fuses. This was much easier since thankfully there only is one reset button 😂

‘23 Hyundai …… deleted from Bluetooth, my phone, then did the reset (newer units the reset is to the right of the screen on the media unit itself)…..worked like a charm!!! Thank you!
