16:08 very good point. the wedding is DAY 0 of marital life in what could be a journey exceeding 50 years. just make sure you are more excited and happy about your to be spouse and the family you are marrying into rather than planning some elaborate day and dressing in your best clothes which will be a fading memory soon after once 'life' returns.

I don’t agree with point #2. It’s not insecurity. Is about being sure that the guy or girl isn’t a cheater etc. It can be about playing safe. If one is stalking constantly it’s a different story. Also, especially in arranged marriage kind of set ups it’s hard to find out about the person.
