How To Walk Like A Runway Model

Fashion models make it look so effortless, but strutting your stuff in 4-inch heels is no easy feat. Models walk in different ways, and the style of walking will depend on the clothes being modelled and the general tone of the show. However, these are some general tips on walking like a catwalk model. When learning these techniques, make sure you're wearing comfortable clothes and have a long enough room to stride up and down in.

I'm 12 and I really love modelling but when there's audience, I always am shy to show them my modelling skills but lots of people i've encountered (including those people whom I just bumped into and stopped me while walking outdoors) are suggesting for me to sign up in pageants like Ms Earth, Ms Universe, etc. but I just lack of self confidence. Right now, i'm thinking about signing up a Catwalk modelling competition and this video helped me alot. I hope I can be a supermodel after this <#

I know what you mean. I've been 5'11 1/2" since I was 14 years old. I was obnoxiously tall and I was always so upset about it. Modeling was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. It gave me confidence in my height, it gave me self-esteem that was much needed in high school and it gave me a family and friends that were above the influence and kept me focused on being healthy and happy. If you can handle criticism, definitively look into it!
