Balot is really good when luke warm or room temperature with some salt. The sabao, or soup inside is the best part honestly, the hardened yolk can be very dry so be ready for that. They say the whites is the healthiest part of it, where all the vitamins live but it tastes like a rock.

I love Poultry Meat such as Turkey, Duck and Chicken and I love Eggs but I'm not sure if I want to try that

It seems disgusting but it may taste good. I don't think I have the courage to try it. I have been guilty of eating chicken nuggets once in a while and believe me, if you see how nuggets are made is disgusting. I used to avoid eating pork until I moved to USA and started eating it. It is not pleasant to the eye either. Anyways, eat whatever you culture thought you to eat as long it does not include humans cuz that will be SO GROSS

Had these a few times from Filipino eateries and some when I visited Vietnam. Both different preparations, I prefer Viet method as a standalone but Filipino style with calamansi goes great with beer.

My boyfriend showed me Balut when I visited him in the Philippines and I cried I felt so sad for the little baby duck and people were looking at me like I was crazy

try balut from pateros (where balut originated) balut shouldn't suppose to look disgusting because it suppose to cover the whole duck with the white stuff. And the hard white suppose to be the size of a pebble
