Who Was Isaiah?

Isaiah was a Jewish prophet who lived during the eighth century BC. The Book of Isaiah claims to be written by him, and scholars believe he at least wrote part of it.

701 BC date is wrong. Isaiah refers to the death of the Assyrian emperor, Sennacherib, in 37:38 and this did not occur until 681 B.C., five years after Hezekiah's death in 686 B.C. Also II Chronicles 32:32 states that Isaiah wrote a history of Hezekiah and this would not have been possible until Hezekiah had died. Also there is so much in Isaiah that reflects the Assyrian invasion in 701 that it isn't very good scholarship to think he just dropped dead that year after the invasion. At a minimum his writing on the subject should have taken a few years.

TO SEE WHAT FATHER IS SAYING IN DEUTERONOMY YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THE WORDS IN HEBREW AND WHAT THEY MEAN IN REALITY. KAMO FOR EXAMPLE IS THE PROPHETS THAT WILL BE STOOD UP OR MADE TO STAND ON THEIR FEET IN HEBREW TERMS. KAMO MEANS THEY WILL ACTUALLY BE A CAMOUFLAGE OF MOSES.
