This is the season of life I’m currently in right now. Went through a tough job loss, eviction, and unwanted divorce last year and was homeless for a long time. God brought me a place to live and after over a year of job hunting, he brought me a new job that I’m starting next week. Some really good points. When we are prioritising human love over God’s love he will allow us to go through a season of being close to him and away from human love. God is a jealous God.
God’s love doesn’t need to compete with human love. Human love is meant to enhance our love for God.

In my case, I have rejected the possibility of human love the joy of receiving it and accepted God’s love like it was an either or choice.

Now I know how to love others and love God more and in the proper order by now choosing to love others in tandem with God being first, and this explains why I have the desire for marriage and the inner transformation for it.

I KNOW he's saying this to me. I keep getting myself too wound up about human romantic love even though I want it for the right reasons, but I struggle with impatience and I know I just need to rest in the Lord because He will provide, and I'm literally witnessing His sovereign will every day in my life.
