I hate the key card system. It doesn’t actually work by putting the card in the designated area on the pillar.

Do you have an option for a metal key, just incase my phone is dead and the key card battery dies or gets mangled by my dog?

I prefer a good old fashioned never let me down turn key manual locking door. I foresee many issues with an electronic door lock.

No longer including the key fob for the S and X is hilariously stupid. S and X should not be utilizing a plastic card. Especially the X, whose proximity door opening feature works abysmally with the phone application. I had to separately order the key fob and it left a really unpleasant feeling of being nickel-and-dimed. Not wise of Tesla. Better they raised the price by $200 and offset the price than to downgrade a vital component of their most prestigious cars. Really a shame.
