He's getting better and better. He's better than some our rotation on the Phillies

A scoreless inning to boot! As much as I don't like seeing position players pitching as I used to it always puts a smile on my face to see Astudillo take the mound.

Crazy in todays era we have the privilege of watching two stars in the likes of Shohei Ohtani and Willians Astudillo

Astudillo is such a fascinating pitcher! Regularly catches me (and many players it seems!) off-guard! Always great to see him pitching!

He is the least expensive relief pitcher in baseball AND fun to watch AND pitched a scoreless inning.

Every time I see him pitch I feel like I’m watching Major League 4 starring Bartolo Colon’s stunt double and his catcher would be Rodney Dangerfield.

They should consider actually using him (sparingly) in meaningful games. No one will because he doesn’t “look the part” but he’s lowkey a genius

I love how there's Matt Reynolds on deck timing pitches in the background 😂

I like his efficiency. Be interested to see how he'd handle starting duties as a way to mess with players minds. Before switching the pace completely.

Probably the most famous (or infamous) non-pitcher pitcher ever

I wonder if bringing in Astudillo as starting pitcher and how that would mess with the hitting of the opposing team through the game. Just one inning. Fun to watch him.
