This was so helpful to me just now. My washer dryer just died, so I though about changing the fuse but couldn’t open the integrated plug (knife too big)..but then you gave the tip of trying to plug it into a different socket - and it worked! My fuse burnt my plug? I checked the plug and the outlet everything is fine but the fuse is burnt, do i just switch out the fuse or is it now on safe to use?

Does anyone know how to get hold of the clip that fits over the top of the fuse. Mine's missing from my Miele vacuum cleaner. I couldn't get a replacement at my local hardware and the problem seems to be ungoogleable.

Wow compared to the USA, the plugs in your country are gigantic. Ours are half that size and don’t contain fuses.
