bmw i3 drift

Traction control off and in a field experimenting with the i3's handling. Don't worry I was nowhere near the camera boy, looks a lot closer than it was!

BMW i3 is what has what I'd describe as 'snappy' rear end, it pops into oversteer very quickly with little warning and is quite difficult to hold! (BTW: I have had S2000, 911, Elise, Triumph Spitfire so am experience of snappy back ends!)

Grass was dry but the i3 really wanted to swap ends under power, feels very rear engined/heavy. Quite difficult to modulate the power/torque. I imaging driving on the road with traction off and pressing on could be quite hair raising.

Nice.  I believe the "smoke trails" are the heat from the tires burning off the moisture on the grass/field.  Does look cool though.
