Once I was standing in Mansfield and the "train approaching" announcement came one. I was 3 feet away from a 141mph Acela set. The speed limit is 120 (no third track, platform passing restriction). Thus, my first Acela ever, in 2015, power car 2015 leading.

I heard that they tested the sets up to 180mph. That would be interesting.
