I literally purchased my Steam Deck OLED during this video haha, after seeing the trackpad being updated and it really being lighter, Valve seems to have really addressed all the issues that caused me to sell my first steam deck. LFGGG, great video brother.

I was a little nervous seeing this video as I just ordered an OLED 2 days ago. I thought "oh no did I make a mistake? I should have waited for the Ally 2" but you put my fears at ease. Just bought the 1TB OLED Version. Can't wait for it to arrive shame about the bank holiday here in the UK. I remember the original deck coming out and being so skeptical about it, escpecially as a "competitive gamer" but I've took a massive turn and are absolutely loving roguelikes and platformers at the minute. I'd agree with most things you've said but, the original SD was always light and comfortable.
The new one is lighter but, there isn't any difference in comfort to hold.

I have a ROG Ally, but I use my Steam Deck a lot more. The Deck definitely has a better ergonomic grip and is much more comfortable. But, I wouldn't give up my Ally.

Accidentally bought the steam deck LCD . Got it in the mail and had it for about an hour . Returned it to ups the next day hahaha. Upsetting, but I returned it for the oled version. Can’t wait
