Thanks for the tips. I finally got my SD Oled a week ago. Straight out of the box it refused to turn on, so that was a great start. Now I get green lines when switching between desktop mode and steam. Some pretty annoying problems but it is a really wonderful addition to my gaming life.

the nested dektop thing is huge wtf. I mod games on my steamdeck quite intensively but i also mainly play in a docked format. This makes modding on my steamdeck controller compatible! Genuinely awesome

I got my oled deck maybe a month ago, and it has been the BEST purchase of my life. I use it almost everyday, I have so many games between steam and emudeck AND xbplay (cloud gaming that runs flawlessly) that I don’t know what to play lol. I switch between games everyday. It’s great :)

I've owned an OG Steam Deck and then sold it off to upgrade to the OLED. I got mine a few months into launch but some things still needed to be worked out as the support wasn't fully there yet.
Despite going into the Konsole to use commands, ;learning to navigate desktop mode, etc., I STILL did not know more than half of these tips. This is a fantastic video and shows that you really did put the effort to figure this device out. Thank you very much!
