The simplest of simple Filter Revision, using the CALCULATE() function with only Override filters is a great place to start. In this video Brian Grant will show you how CALCULATE() evaluates its additional arguments into Temp Tables in order to add them to the Filter Context; getting the filters just right before unfreezing and running its Sub Expression. This video will help you look at CALCULATE() and understand the purpose of each argument and the order that they run in. Mastering this makes scanning code quickly much, much easier.
