For people getting the Wheel Error about the tourch requirment.
Uninstall python completly, both in the control panel and in your %appdata folder delete pip folder then python in the programs folder (look up how to get to %appdata if you dont know how).
Delete the AI folder you made.
Redo the entire videos instruction BUT download version 3.10.6 instead.
Durring the install select Add to path / install to path.

If any one is having an "ERROR 9009" code after installing Python, just uninstall, then reinstall and select "ADD PATH" at the installer promote… Remember, we’re all in this together

Great tutorial, I finally got it working, but you really shouldn't have jump skipped the install process for all the programs. It took me like an hour before I saw the pinned comment telling me to have that checkbox. I could have had a lot of time and frustration saved. Also, installing git was a bit of a process, and had me decide between more things than I was comfortable with. I was not confident with all of my choices, and even though everything was right, it was confusing, and I could see someone slipping at this part. Otherwise, it got me where I needed to be, so thank you :)

If you're using this guide, it doesn't matter which version of python you select, just ensure to enable 'Add Python 3.1x to PATH' and you enable Python to be used for all users. Took me about 3 hours to figure second part out.

People getting the pytorch error on Windows 11, follow below steps:

1. Delete the venv directory from git directory
2. Install Python 3.10.06
3. Run webui.bat to re-establish the stable-diffusion-webui virtual environment (venv directory will be recreated with Python 3.10.6).

Hey Matt! Great video! Thanks for showing your users our service! We've worked hard to make our service accessible to everyone all over the world. Those without the means to purchase a huge graphics card. We just released an update that brought our boot times down to a minute and 30 seconds! So now we're stable diffusion in sub 2 minutes!

I keep getting the error at the last step, it won't run the 30 min download thing, it keeps saying ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement torch==2.0.1 (from versions: none) I'm not sure what to do. Earlier it said it needed an update to pip and i did that but then this happened.

I got mine to work However, at the @6:02 talking about the .BAT file. Make sure you download the Python version 3.10 not the newest. It will tell you to downgrade to make it work. Also another big thing I had to figure out. That BAT file couldnt launch Python at first. If you right click the file and click "edit" I had to edit it to run. Change the line "set PYTHON=" to add "py" at the end. entire thing should look like "set PYTHON=py". Save and close, Open again. Hope that helps anyone

The step-by-step instructions were clear and easy to follow, so I successfully installed Stable Diffusion and experimented with different settings.

Works great. For those struggling with Python, remember to update your environment variables.

As of today, it seems Stable-diffusion 1.4 is unavailable as the download files have been removed

I am having an issue running the webui-user.bat file. It's kicking back an error "ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement torch==2.0.1 (from versions: none)" and "ERROR: No matching distribution found for torch==2.0.1". Then gives error code 1 at the end and states it cannot install torch.

I don't know how to proceed. Does anyone have any advice?

Great tutorial thus far though, there are a good number of steps but I never felt lost!
