OMG! I could feel that line of something go through the neck when you pulled on it. l cringed. I'm hoping the seal's neck will heal and not leave a deep scar. The seal has to be feeling better now. Great job OCN team! Love you and all the seals.

For anyone wondering, there aren’t any wildlife rehabbers or vets that can take care of seals in that area, so they just let them go and hope for the best. Fortunately the saltwater helps to heal the injury and most seals, even badly cut ones like this one, heal up fine once the line has been removed. In a month it will only have a scar and a story to tell at the pub lol
