Can we talk about the missed championship point at at 7:45? How many other players would turn to the umpire pissed, make a ruckus out of it, and let that situation get the better of them for the remainder of that set. Not Alcaraz. I love how focused and unbothered he was. Champ mentality.

People compare Carlos to the Big 3, but he's absolutely unique.
No one has shown us this game before, this style of tennis, this combination of freight-train unrelenting offense & extraordinary defence. He's singlehandedly given new life to the drop shot, has brought the lob back to the game as a go-to offensive weapon, & god help us he's on court smiling for sheer joy & love of the game.

At 21 he's already earned the right to not be compared. Extraordinary player & person, surrounded by an extraordinary team including his family. What a time to be a tennis

The fact that he was able to win that tiebreaker after squandering 3 match points speaks volumes

Carlos has grown so much from last years finals. This match proved he is here for the long haul. We are so excited again 😊

Alcaraz is new evolution of tennis like big three were. He mix attacking game of Roger with nadals speed and defense to go with novaks return ability and flexibility. What a combo. Best thing is that he wants to finish points like roger instead of defensive rallying like other two

Look how Calm, cool and Collected Alcaraz was even after he squandered 3 match points, shows his maturity and ability to come right back and win the Tiebreaker, and take the CHAMPIONSHIP!! Kudos to him on a great Victory and Defending the Wimbledon Title.👏👏👍👍🏆❤

How satisfying to come back here after the gold medal loss at the Olympics to watch Carlos denied Djokovic of winning Wimbledon #8. I can watch this ending for years to come...

Alcaraz has the ability to recover from squandering the game and eventually winning the set. Hoping his career will not be halted by injuries.

So basically Alcaraz's toughest match was against Tiafoe! That's insane!

The level Alcaraz is capable of playing is scary. He is really a nightmare on court. Djokovic's level was good enough to beat some of the players in the top 10 in this final.

that cheeky smile on drop shot at 4-6 tiebreak.

The third match point Alcaraz wasted was actually influenced by a terrible audience's screaming, yet he didn't complain even a bit. Imagine what would have happened if it's on the opponent?

Tennis has become an epic show since Alcaraz's involvement.

If he wants to and he stays fit, he'll beat Federers 8 Wimbledons. He looks even better than the big 3 were in their prime, the bar just keeps on being raised.

This was an amazing final. The fact that Novak really didn't do anything to get the break back; Alcaraz really just choked under pressure and gifted it to him. And then somehow able to hold on to still win the match.

I really thought after getting to the tiebreak Djokovic would at least take the 3rd set, and then make a comeback. Just incredible mental strength at such a young age. Awesome to see.
