It's pretty clear that Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars are going to give us some kind of reboot that will bring the X-Men and other mutants into the MCU. But what will the reboot look like? IN this video we break down how we're finally going to get that Hulk vs Wolverine fight we all deserve.

Remember that each saga has to span multiple franchises. You described one for the FF, then another for the X-Men, but what were then avengers and other Earth-bound heroes doing at that time.
The need to get back to the 4 separate tracks City, Global, Galactic, & Dimensional in each saga! You cannot ignore 1 entire sector for an entire phase, or you’ll lose all the momentum gained in that sector.

Biggest issue I'd like them to fix is to actually make the averagers feel like a team again. Right now, they're just individual heros doing their own thing and have been that way for a long time. Even since like infinity war.

the main issue with Phase 4, as many have pointed out, is that it's not interconnected. It's just that. The writers for all these projects need to be aware of what's happening to the characters across the phase. We don't want a whole Wandavision/Multiverse of Madness situation again. We want coherent stories.

You know what would be fun? Midnight Sons. I'd love to see more exploration of the spooky side of the Marvel universe with characters like Blade, Ghost Rider, or Magik.

Excited to watch this one! Personally I’m hoping Marvel does a Secret Wars (2015) styled soft reset / continuation of the MCU but as opposed to being from the perspective of Avengers it’s The X Men. Let the stories that have already been told stand, and eventually where and when necessary recast legacy roles to suit the stories being told.

They should do the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Sagas like they did in the '90s X-Men cartoon. I want the Shi'ar, alien pirates, a crazy-ass pocket dimension in the M'Kraan Crystal ruled over by a godlike D'Ken, The Hellfire Club... THAT is what the film version of the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Sagas should have been. Just give me a near shot-for-shot remake of X-Men TAS' version with bombastic special effects and mind-melting CGI.

I really liked how the series wolverine and the x-men merged days of future past with the phoenix saga. I’d love to see something like that in live action but it would be a lot to deal with.

Rebooting something when a couple movies seem to have loose ends doesn't seem right, hopefully they can just tie it in to where it makes sense.

The funniest part about the mcu and dceu "reboots" is that eventually, they'll end up bringing back the old actors at some point anyway since it's always technically a Multiverse.

talking of being "the main pillar of the MCU" made me think. Pillars usually work in concert with each other. My first thought was the four corner pillars of the MCU could be Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Midnight Suns. Then we could have solo projects from Thor and Spider-Man, as well as all the TV shows. and anyone from anywhere could and probably should be seen in each other's projects, but there's clear delineation between teams and threats they prefer to face.

I agree with this idea, since the X-Men are currently more popular than the Fantastic Four, they probably should be at the forefront of the new rebooted MCU after the Secret Wars. But having the Fantastic Four as a close second is a really good idea as there's less characters so there's less interaction, but it makes for tighter storytelling. I really hope John Krasinski comes back as Mister Fantastic and Cillian Murphy is cast as Doctor Doom since they've worked together in A Quiet Place 2, so studios know they're already a good match. Pitting them as rivals would be so much fun as an audience member to see. I really hope it happens.
