I think the idea of having a separate “ultimate Universe” would be so awesome and a great idea. Also possibly introduce Miles’ Spider man. Having a separate ultimate timeline could introduce so many fresh stories and ideas. Hopefully Marvel will learn from their mistakes and focus on what they did right. Soft reboot would be a good way to fix, glad they’ve got plans for the future.

Without some kind of reboot, you will run out of major heros as the actors want to stop, pass away or age out. Makes a lot of sense.

I TOTALLY would love a full fledged 100% reboot with brand new young actors but make the stories follow the comics more closely. They have almost all their characters to use, they just need to secure Namor and Hulk and we can have a brilliant new movie adaptation of the comics. New tonality, new look, far more interconnectedness. It’s. A huge opportunity and could be amazing if they don’t mess it up.

Even though phase 4 has had its rough patches, I still believe that with the pandemic essentially over, Chapek having moved on, and spreading out the rest of the projects, that Marvel can pull this off in a satisfactory way for the majority of their fans.

I don't mind hitting the refresh button and creating new opportunities to tell new refreshing stories. I don't think fans should be so attached to actors/actresses. Something isn't special because it lasts forever and that's why the first 10 years was so awesome for me! I know nothing will ever top that saga but I look forward to the new stories Marvel Studios looks to bring to the big screen.

I like it! I really would like to see a “house of M” and “avengers vs X-men”storyline and they wouldn’t feel right without characters like iron man and cap. It would be awesome to see them recast and have new stories told.

Sounds great, makes it easier to incorporate the newly reacquired properties but as far as people catching up; I thought that was what Disney + was for. Just about everything is there for you to watch. They even put it in chronological order for you.

I think of those we currently have I am most sad to know we'll probably be losing Tom Hiddleston as Loki. I loved Kid Loki in season one, but Tom truly has defined the character.

Yeah...I agree with this 100 fold. I wanna see Hank Pym fight with Tony Stark and create Ultron...and I wanna see Cap and Logan fighting side by side in WW2.

There are almost infinite storylines that Marvel Studios could branch into after the multiverse sage and the comics still exists so there are new stories being written continuously, in real time too. I think Feige is referring to the MCU continuing like 50+ years and counting of James Bond, almost 40 years of Star Wars, almost 60 years of Star Trek content still going strong. Makes perfect sense, as long as it’s good.

This is a fantastic plan! Works perfectly with the state of the MCU. I am so down for more stories told from our Phase 1 heroes. This also allows reinterpretations and a chance to learn from any mistakes early on.

I would love to see younger actors with a reboot. Heck, they missed a lot of stories they could have told with Captain America during WWII

I've basically known a total reboot was a strong possibility from the start, so I've always been open to the idea. At this point, they might only have to reboot once if they don't want to do it again though. If you've seen how realistic some of the latest 3D generated humans are looking, it's not impossible to think that whoever they cast in these roles next would sign away their likeness so that a digital version of them can continue on, even after they've aged out of a role. Would Marvel go that far? Weird times are coming
