We'll Meet Again - Billy Bragg

Out on the rubble mound again this week for the #ClapForNHS #ClapForCarers #ClapForKeyWorkers. With the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War tomorrow, I thought I'd play something to commemorate the defeat of Nazism, a tune with a message that also chimes in with how many of us feel about our loved ones and friends in the midst of this lockdown.

Happy VE-Day from Germany! I'm still a pacifist, but sometimes you need tank drivers (like Billy) to liberate people from fascism ... I hope we Germans will get rid of our current (AfD) nazis all by ourselves without the help of the Allied Forces. And don't forget the atrocities committed by our French liberators on that SAME day in Sétif.
