Videoing your kid having a meltdown because of YOUR bad parenting choices and then actually posting it online is WILD. Like imagine the embarrassment these kids will feel when they grow up and find these videos, knowing that millions of complete strangers on the internet saw them.

This isn’t an iPad issue it’s a parenting issue. Parents would rather stick an iPad in their kids faces than actually spend time and engage with them. All three of my kids have an iPad and they don’t act like this because I’ve established a healthy boundary with it and I make sure they spend time more time on other non screen activities.

Hi an 11 year old here i just want to say not all children is like this my neighbourhood is full of kids that watch a lot of tiktok and etc but when theirs phone/ipad get taken away they go outside to ask other kids if they want to play outside i am one of those kids. I am turkish and all of my friends think it is stupid to scream very loud because they got their phone/ipad taken away

As an iPad kid, don’t give your child an iPad. I legit focus too much on it that I wasn’t focusing on school until later on. I’m going to college now but I wish I did better.

Edit: I’m a Gen Z but I grew up as an iPad kid, I’m just saying don’t give your kids a lot of screen time. I’ve changed though, I go outside to hang out and place down my phone to spend time with family and friends.

One of my aunts kids has autism and she has to give him an ipad so she can have a break, she said her doctor has suggested that he uses it in public so he doesn’t feel over whelmed. Its good for her and my cousin, so in terms of this whole thing, there are some exceptions but its all about good parenting and discipline <3

Solutions✨

1. Give them a ipad at a older age like 5-8
2. Get them a phone at middle school or 5th grade elementary

3.set rules like times for the iPad when they understand english
4.don't threaten to take it away or just grab it from them just try and say "give me the ipad" if that doesn't work just set a rule for them
