Let me save everybody 2 minutes.

2) Move the painting
3) Skip steps 1 and 2 and watch a more informative youtube video

Use a clear matte spray paint on the glass, that is what I do and it works perfectly.

Christ, if I was a complete dummy with no survival skills whatsoever this video would be helpful

This was the silliest "How to..." piece I've ever encountered! How to remove dents from your car? Buy a new car.

An idea just hit me today, that I have to share with people struggling like me/ an experiment to try, that I have high confidence will work to frame art with glass, AND get rid of glare... BUT, it is for unique situations/ may not work for everyone... I am so thrilled that I realized this. I believe it will work. I must use glass, because my art is pastels/ charcoal, and you cannot use acrylic sheets, because they get electric charged and attract the charcoal/ pastel. But museum glass is $150 for 18x24. Acrylic no glare sheets this size are like only $14 on art websites like DickBlick, or Jerry's. What I realized that I believe will work, & I am going right now to try... is the same principle when placing on coats of varnish--- layers!! If you want a top, no glare matte or semi gloss layer of varnish, for example, they tell you to start with a perfectly clear underlayer, and save the matte or semi gloss for the last top layer only. I am going to try this same idea with sheets of glass (the underlayer) and place non glare acrylic, (as the top layer), thus using 2 layers--- 1 glass, 1 non-glare acrylic. It is an experiment, but i believe it will work. blessings.

This told me absolutely nothing about "how to reduce glare", when common sense can tell you to move the picture or buy non glare glass. this title leaves one to believe you are going to tell us how to "reduce glare".

Good grief! I want the picture where it's at, that's why I am looking for a HOW TO REDUCE THE GLARE. It is a very large picture and replacing the glass would be crazy expensive. Please stop wasting our time!
