NO LIGHTING NEEDED! I recently discovered a hack that people can do to reduce the greenish glare you get from shooting in front of the computer. I find it super effective so check out the video to see what I used!

Holy Moly - THIS WORKS!!! Why isn't this more widely known? It should come with Zoom and Monitor instructions. I bought a sheet of polarized plastic for $6 bucks on Amazon. Cut a little piece off and taped it to my monitor's camera. Walah - problem fixed!

Genius. Literally the first video I’ve seen suggesting this. I have one for my DSLR camera but don’t use it for video.

Very unique approach. I'm ordering it now. If it works, you are a magician. I suggest putting some Amazon link in the description, someone may use them. Great tips, Aran. Thanks.

Hello, thank you very much for sharing this valuable information with us.
I make sphere and egg shaped works from epoxy resin. When photographing these and shooting videos, the reflection of the softbox light occurs. I wonder if the polarizing filter can be effective on shiny surfaces such as glass.
Does a polarizing filter work in artificial lights such as softboxes?

Is there a specific kind you need to get for computer monitor glare, or will any polarizing filter work?

Disappointing. My screen is so bright on my glasses. There is no setting on my PC for changing anything.
